During the Community Holly Jolly Days sponsored by the Perryopolis Fire Department, the Library welcomed visitors to experience a Hallmark Christmas! The library offered a festive welcome to patrons and visitors and a warm haven from the cold. Everyone enjoyed endless hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream and marshmallows, cookies and candy canes. Children created Letters to Santa….all of which received a personal response from the North Pole and Santa himself ….as well as ornaments and crafts.
The library also had coloring sheets available for the Coloring Contest sponsored by the Perryopolis Post Office. All entries were displayed in the post office and judged by the postal staff. The winners were Oliver Mulvaney and Karson Krepps.
The Library also collected Toys for Tots helping to ensure that all children experienced a joyful Christmas!
