Be a Friend in 2024

The past year has been filled with challenges and the change that challenge ultimately brings. The Community Library moved from the Frazier High School campus, its home for 63 years, to its current location in the Leader Building, which is located just off the town circle.

The Community Library Board of Directors and Staff made this transition with the wonderful support of our library friends, patrons, elected officials, local churches, and community residents. I wish I could tell you it was easy…it was not! 

Aside from the tremendous job of packing and arranging the move, you come face to face with memories, regrets, and a saddened heart for what once was and the angst of facing a future that is unknown.

I am pleased to report we are happily nestled in our quaint and cozy location in the Leader Building. While we hope to find a permanent home which will accommodate our book collection and furniture, as well provide room for our programming, we are thankful for our presence in town and strive to carry on the wishes of the town benefactor, Mary Fuller Frazier, who wanted the residents of Perryopolis to have access to a library. We invite all to visit the library and take advantage of the programs and services we offer.

The faith and trust you placed in us this past year has been appreciated. Your support has been overwhelming…there are no words other than Thank You.
